One of the number 1. best place I have ever been in the world. I have choosen this resort because of the guestrewiews regarding location, great massage on the beach and the price niveau in the restaurant. It was a great decission. We spent 3 weeks in Thailand and visited a lot of places and a lot of ilands, but this is the place where we definitly will come back again (we could spend here only 4 days). The transfer from the airport was perfect, the check-in and the reception very helpful, the room very-very clean and huge, the location is the best on the Chaweng Beach. I took a massage every day on the cost, the price was very resonable for a 1 hous massage on the cost under the trees :))) We ate every day in the restaurant for a good price and we found european foods also. The beach was great, we could get sun-beds every time. The pool was great and enough big. We were very statisfied and this is the place we want to visit again in Thailand. We were very said to leave the resort. Highly recommended!!!

Clean, Relatively quiet and peaceful hotel, polite staff.
Air condition very very noisy ( room 127) pillows were hard, affecting me and wife's sleep very much. Otherwise stay was excellent. My family love it very much. Will recommend to friends.

Excellent location- in the center of Chaweng Beach. With a private beach which include suntans beds. Nice crew who is friendly to children. The rooms desinged very nicely. We stayed at the superior villa and also at the Superior Double or Twin Room. Both were very good.
The braekfast is the same in every day, nothing changed.

Old, but well-maintained rooms. Very nice territory, tasty and diverse breakfast. Nice beach.
Locftion is a bit noisy - many clubs are very close.

We are very close to the night venues on the beach & also in downtown as the hotel is centrally located, the discobar Ark on the beach is only 300 meters away & has music till 2 in the morning, recommended for young people & loud music lovers
The wifi service of the hotel has very low signal & is very expensive, nevertheless, there are many bars which offer free wifi access next to the hotel, such us Ark, Bondi (aussie restaurant).

My stay at the hotel was from 25 Jan to 27 Jan 2012. However the hotel has charged the two nights stay to my credit card on 14 Jan 2012 without my prior approval. As per the terms and conditions of my booking, I will not be charged until I check in to the hotel or I do not show up. The hotel receptionist could not able to explain to me why they had charged the total nights to my credit card before I checked in to the hotel.

The baan chaweng beach resort & spa, sha extra plus is in a perfect spot near bars, restaurants, and shops. The superior villa was spacious and clean. We loved the pool area surrounded by lush gardens. The staff even prepared us a breakfast box for our early flight, such a nice touch!

Excellent location - right on the beach, close to the beach nightlife and at the same time on the main street.

I have stayed there before. Great location and lovely gardens. Will go back again!
The room said two breakfasts and when I got there they refused to give to me unless the guest was staying. Stupid rule as a mate of mine who was staying up the road was looking forward to his breakfast. Also breakfast shut too early at 10.30 on the dot. They should be cleaning up after 10.30 not before.

The staff were responsible and attentive and the wake up service and ironing were free of charge. The location was absolutely perfect for walking around Central Festival Samui Mall. It was also near the beach for breakfast, lunch and supper, all bars, and the restaurant overlooking the sea.

It's convenient and clean location, if you are looking at reasonable right in the busyness of Chaweng Beach.
The wifi is hopeless. You buy a card with credit from the desk. It seems to have way less minutes on it then what you pay. The hotel does not take any ownership of this esp after several complaints from different people.

A good beachside escape
Our group enjoyed the spacious villa with a fine view and a lovely patio area. The peaceful beach access and attentive staff.
The only downside was the lack of outdoor cushions on the porch chairs, which would have enhanced our lounging experience during the day.
